So often we believers teach about God and Jesus and yet leave the Holy Spirit out. Bummer. I need to work on that. You might need to as well. Perhaps we need to remind ourselves of the incredible role of the Holy Spirit. Let's first keep in mind that God is three in one. The Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. So just as Jesus is God, so the Holy Spirit is God. The Father is seated on the throne in heaven. Jesus Christ physically walked this earth, but now sits at the right hand of the Father and prepares a place for us (John 14:3). The Holy Spirit is everywhere. Here on this earth. Now. And right next to you at this moment.
The Holy Spirit. What is his role? The Spirit convicts us of sin which leads us to salvation in Christ (John 16:8). The Spirit dwells in every believer and guides us through life (1 Corinthians 6:19). The Spirit teaches us and reminds us of God's desire for us (John 14:26). The Spirit helps strengthen us when we don't have the strength to carry on (Romans 8:26). The Spirit provides comfort in our pain (John 14:26). The Spirit helps us keep God's commands (Acts 2:38). The Spirit provides us with spiritual gifts we can use for God's Kingdom (1 Corinthians 12). The Spirit provides freedom wherever he dwells (2 Corinthians 3:17).
As a worship leader, it is the Holy Spirit which moves me to sing praises to the Father (Philippians 3:3). The Spirit is integral in my life. Most importantly, in all things the Holy Spirit points us back to the Father. I am grateful to the Holy Spirit.
Let's not neglect his role in our lives. Let's allow him to fill our hearts and our lives with God's glory.

lyrics for Holy Spirit
There's nothing worth more that will ever come close
No thing can compare, You're our living hope
Your presence, Lord
I've tasted and seen of the sweetest of loves
Where my heart becomes free and my shame is undone
Your presence, Lord
Holy Spirit, You are welcome here
Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere
Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for
To be overcome by Your presence, Lord
I've tasted and seen, of the sweetest of loves
Where my heart becomes free, and my shame is undone
By Your presence, Lord
Let us become more aware of Your presence
Let us experience the glory of Your goodness
