Those of us who believe in Jesus and follow him will die. But we will be immediately resurrected, given new glorious bodies, and love with our Lord for eternity. But that is not the whole picture. Often we live for that moment. But we have so much to live for right now.
He is resurrecting us even now. Today. Make no mistake... as a follower of Jesus, he is renewing you and cleansing you (sanctifying you) right now (2 Thessalonians 5:23 & 2 Corinthians 5:17). Today. And tomorrow. And every day we breathe on this earth. He is resurrecting us. Even now allowing us to share in his victory. That is the power of his name. The name to which everyone will bow and everyone will confess (Philippians 2:9-11).
I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed - in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." (1 Corinthians 15:50-54)
Yep. That's cause to worship.
worship Him 24/7...

Resurrecting Lyrics:
The head that once was crowned with thorns
Is crowned with glory now
The Savior knelt to wash our feet
Now at his feet we bow
The one who wore our sin and shame
Now robed in majesty
The radiance of perfect love
Now shines for all to see
Your name, Your name
Is victory
All praise will rise
To Christ our king
The fear that held us now gives way
To him who is our peace
His final breath upon the cross
Is now alive in me
By Your spirit I will rise
From the ashes of defeat
The resurrected king
Is resurrecting me
In Your name I come alive
To declare your victory
The resurrected king
Is resurrecting me
The tomb where soldiers watched in vain
Was borrowed for three days
His body there would not remain
Our God has robbed the grave
Our God has robbed the grave
The head that once was crowned with thorns
Is crowned with glory now
The Savior knelt to wash our feet
Now at his feet we bow
The one who wore our sin and shame
Now robed in majesty
The radiance of perfect love
Now shines for all to see
